Program Curriculum:

• Module 7: Occlusion, TMJ & Airway Evaluation - A new approach to understanding diseases of occlusion, the temporomandibular joint and subsequent airway complications to thus identify potential sleep medicine cases.
• Module 8: Radiographic Survey - A risk-assessment based strategy to identifying appropriate diagnostic radiographs necessary for the identification of oral diseases.
• Module 9: Intermediate Periodontal Diagnostics w/ Staging & Grading - An initial overview of the AAP Staging and Grading modalities as they align with diagnostics of healthy, stable on a reduced periodontium and gingival diseases.
• Module 10: Advanced Periodontal Diagnostics - A deeper overview of the AAP Staging and Grading modalities as they align with diagnostics of diseases of the periodontium.
• Module 11: Clinical Decision Making - A critical look at the application of assessments and diagnostics into building a patient-centric care plan.
• Module 12: Calibrating Chart Preparation for CDT Coding & Billing - A review of current CDT coding and billing details as they relate to dental hygiene clinical decision making, and the usage of chart preparation to optimize dental hygiene department success.
